These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and LeagueIntel, Inc. (“LeagueIntel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the LeagueIntel platform, including our website, mobile applications, SMS services, and APIs (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s consent. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Not create accounts for other people without their express permission.

Captain accounts: If you register as a team captain, you represent that you have authorization to manage the team and its roster, and that you will obtain consent from each player before adding them to the platform and enrolling them in SMS communications.

3. SMS Services and Consent

The Service includes SMS-based features. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receiving text messages from LeagueIntel related to availability requests, match confirmations, lineup notifications, and match-day reminders. For full details, see our SMS Consent & TCPA Policy.

  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
  • Message frequency varies based on your team schedule (typically 2-5 messages per match week).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users, or send unsolicited or unauthorized communications.
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation.
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written consent.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to collect personal information about other users for commercial purposes unrelated to the Service.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Circumvent any security features of the Service.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, interfaces, code, and the selection and arrangement thereof, is owned by LeagueIntel, Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “LeagueIntel” and the LeagueIntel logo are trademarks of LeagueIntel, Inc..

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create or provide through the Service (team names, notes, venue tips, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

5.3 Rating Data

Player ratings displayed in the Service (NTRP, UTR, WTN, dynamic ratings) are sourced from third parties and are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, currency, or completeness of third-party rating data.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited features. The free tier may be modified at any time with reasonable notice.

6.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as indicated at checkout. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

6.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ advance notice. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle after the notice period.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including UTR, USTA, ITF/WTN, Twilio, and Stripe. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. We disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Tennis rating data, match analytics, and lineup suggestions are provided for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for match outcomes, team performance, or any decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEAGUEINTEL, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty dollars ($50).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LeagueIntel, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS in San Diego County, California, under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

11.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.

11.4 Small Claims

Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court’s jurisdictional limits.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.

13. Modifications

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect via email or prominent notice in the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and other referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and LeagueIntel.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
